Bona Platja sits directly on the beach along Las Marinas, the long sandy stretch north of Dénia. Tables run out onto the boardwalk under a striped awning, with the sea a few steps away.
What to order
The kitchen leans on fish from the Dénia auction and on rice. Dénia’s gamba roja (red prawn) when it’s in season, arròs a banda or arroz del senyoret, and whatever came in that morning. They also do sushi if you want something lighter.
The setting
It’s about 3 km along the Las Marinas road, an informal place built for long lunches. West-facing, so it’s also a good spot for a drink as the sun goes down.
